Updated over 3 weeks ago

This article will guide you through mounting your Nexar Connected dash cam to your vehicle.

After successfully pairing the rear camera with the front camera, you’ll be prompted to mount the rear camera. Here’s how to proceed:

The setup process will guide you in adjusting the camera angle using the Remote Streaming feature. This requires a stable WiFi connection, so make sure there are no WiFi interferences during setup.

1. Clean the area of the rear windshield where the camera will be mounted.

2. Apply the windshield sticker to the cleaned area on the windshield to ensure mounting stability

3. Firmly mount the camera on your windshield

4. Remove the plastic covering from the rear camera lens.

5. Position the rear camera to ensure it has a clear view of the road behind.

6. Securely mount the camera onto the windshield.

7. Open the trunk to easily connect the rear camera's power cable. Tuck the cable neatly along the trunk and close it after connecting.

8. Connect the cigarette lighter adapter using the two provided stickers to secure the connection.

9. Tap Continue in the app.

10. Once pairing and mounting are complete, you’ll see a confirmation screen: Your Rear Camera & Main Camera are now paired!
