How to Manually Request a Clip on the Fleets Dashboard?
Here are the steps to manually request a Clip on the Fleets Dashboard for your Nexar Fleets dash cam:
Open the Fleets dashboard.
Under the Activity tab, choose the drive you want to save.
Click Get High Resolution Clip.
Adjust the trimmer to select the part of the drive you want to save.
Click Create remote clip.
You can only request a maximum of 5 minutes for each clip that you are requesting.
When a manual clip request is made while the camera is powered off, the camera will automatically turn on to process the request. The footage is then uploaded to the cloud and appears in the dashboard shortly after, with no need to wait for the next drive.
Note: Remote wake-up requires a stable cellular connection and an active OBD or Hardwiring Kit (HWK) power source, and will not work when using a cigarette lighter adapter (CLA).
