If you're experiencing video quality issues with your Nexar dash cam video recordings, follow these steps:
Please ensure that you are only using the original cable and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.
1. Check for lens obstructions, including the plastic protective film, and remove it if still attached.
2. Try adjusting the dash cam's lens angle by moving it up or down to get a better angle.
3. Inspect the dash cam's lens for physical damage.
4. If no physical damage is found, plug the dash cam in to power it
5. Turn off Low Power Mode (iOS) or Power Saving Mode (Android) in the phone's Settings app.
6. Disable WiFi-interfering functions like CarPlay, Android Auto, VPN apps, antivirus apps, security apps, and hotspots.
7. Turn on the phone's cellular data and WiFi and wait until the blue/white light stops blinking
8. Check if the video quality issue is resolved.
If the issue persists, reach out to our support team for further assistance. Sharing a copy of the problematic recording will be helpful for the review.
