What Are Camera-Only Drives?
The Camera Only Drive feature enables Android users to create a manual clip from the most recent drive recorded by the dash cam, in the event that Nexar Classic was not connected to it during the drive. Nexar Classic identifies the last drive saved in the dash cam's SD card or internal storage when it reconnects to the camera and lets you create a manual clip so you can save it on the app.
This feature is only for Nexar Pro, Beam, NEXC1, NEXC2, and NEXS1 dash cams paired or connected with Android devices.
How to Save Camera-Only Drives on Nexar Classic?
To save camera-only drives to Nexar Classic (Android phones only), follow the steps below:
1. Disable any wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, VPNs, security or antivirus apps or hotspots on your phone.
2. Have your phone connected with the dash cam.
3. Open Nexar Classic.
4. Check if you see the “Connected” status on Nexar Classic’s More > Dash cam/s > Status.
5. Go to Videos tab.
6. Tap the Camera only drive card.
7. Trim the portion of the drive to be saved.
8. Tap the Create clip button once done.
