Guide to Mounting Your NEXC1
Updated over a week ago

This article will guide you through mounting your NEXC1 dash cam to your vehicle.

If you are unsure where and how you should stick your dash cam, see our suggestions below:

  • For road view cameras, behind and to the right of your rearview mirror works best.

  • Wherever you choose to stick the camera, make sure to install it in a place where it will not interfere with the driver’s visibility or safety.

  • Do not install the camera on or near where airbags may be present or go off. If you are uncertain of where your vehicle’s airbags are located, contact your vehicle’s manufacturer.

  • In order to prevent damage, do not install the camera on a sun control film (i.e. window tint).

2. Attaching the NEXC1 to the windshield

Firmly apply the suction mount to the windshield and press the lever to secure the suction grip. Remove the sticker from the camera's lens. Attach the USB cable to the USB port in your vehicle.

Note: Make sure the lever is released before applying to the windshield, for best results.

3. Hiding the cables

To install the cable neatly, start in the passenger seat. Gently pull down the ceiling fabric near the windshield, tuck the cable under, or use cable clips. Continue by feeding the cable through the door seal, behind the glove compartment, and under the floor mat. Finally, connect it to the USB charger near the power socket for a seamless setup.

That's it, you're all set!
