This article will help you troubleshoot when the Nexar One is not streaming drives to the Nexar app while you're driving.
What to Do When the Nexar One Fails to Stream Drives While I’m Driving
Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.
Streaming can be done automatically or manually by tapping the Stream button on the Drive tab before you start driving. If the Nexar One is not streaming to the Nexar app while you're driving, follow these troubleshooting instructions:
1. Ensure the power plug is correctly inserted into the magnetic mount (not the add-on ports).
2. Disable VPN, hotspots, wireless Android Auto/CarPlay, and security apps.
3. Turn off Low Power Mode (iOS) or Power Saving Mode (Android) in the phone's Settings app.
4. Make sure that the phone has a good mobile data reception and does not have internet access issues.
5. Check that WiFi and Bluetooth settings are on and not connected to any other device, network, or another Nexar dash cam.
6. Open the Nexar app, then tap the Stream button on the Drive tab to check if the issue is resolved
If the problem persists, follow these steps:
1. Restart your phone and Nexar One.
2. Wait until the blue/white light stops blinking.
3. Turn off and then back on your phone's WiFi, Bluetooth, and Location settings to refresh the connection.
4. Open the Nexar app, then tap the Stream button on the Drive tab to check if the issue is resolved
