This article will guide you in resolving issues with incomplete Nexar One video recordings.
What to Do When Parts of the Video Recordings Are Missing in the Nexar App
When the Nexar app and dash cam weren't connected during certain drives, the app will show which parts of the video are stored and can be retrieved from Nexar One's internal memory. Follow these steps to recover missing parts of your Nexar One's video:
1. Plug the dash cam to power
2. Turn off Low Power Mode (iOS) or Power Saving Mode (Android) in the phone's Settings app.
3. Turn on the phone's Bluetooth and WiFi network
4. Wait until the Nexar One's blue/white light stops blinking
5. Open the Nexar app and wait until the dash cam status says Recording
6. Tap Videos below the screen
7. Select the drive you want to save
8. Click Save to cloud
9. For Nexar One with a cabin view add-on, swipe left on the video to switch to cabin view
10. Trim the relevant part and click Save clip

Can I Still Retrieve Videos That Have Already Been Overwritten?
If parts of the video are missing and the app shows a banner indicating that these segments are no longer in the dash cam, it can no longer be recovered.
It is advisable to maintain a constant connection between the app and Nexar One through WiFi and Bluetooth while driving to ensure your videos are consistently stored in the app. Alternatively, you can create Clips of significant drive segments, which will be securely backed up in the Nexar cloud and readily accessible within the app.
