Troubleshooting Sending or Receiving an Invitation for Nexar One
If you encounter an error while sending invitations to connect or pair with your Nexar One dash cam, please follow the steps outlined below:
Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.
1. Unplug the Nexar One and wait until the blue/white light turns off.
2. Remove the +Connectivity add-on, then reattach it to the right side of the Nexar One.
3. Ensure the power plug is correctly inserted into the magnetic mount (not the add-on ports), then plug it back to power.
4. Turn off Low Power Mode (iOS) or Power Saving Mode (Android) in the phone's Settings app.
5. Disable WiFi-interfering functions like CarPlay, Android Auto, VPN apps, antivirus apps, security apps, and hotspots.
6. Enable the phone's cellular data, Bluetooth and WiFI settings, and wait until the blue/white light stops blinking.
7. Open the Nexar app, then go to More > Dash cam, then tap Invite users.
8. Ask your invited contact to make sure they are in an area with good cellular reception, then check if they received the SMS invitation.
9. If they still did not get the SMS invitation, force close the Nexar app using the instructions below.
For iOS: Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen > pause in the middle > swipe up on the Nexar app.
For Android: Tap the hamburger icon (three lines or dots) from the Navigation bar > swipe up on the Nexar app.
10. Reopen the Nexar app, then go to More > Dash cam, then tap Invite users.
11. Resend the invitation and check if the recipients received the SMS invitation.
