This article will guide you in resolving issues with your Nexar Pro, Beam, and NEXC2 dash cam not powering or turning on.
Troubleshooting Not Powering On Issue on a Nexar Pro, Beam, or NEXC2 Dash Cam
If your Nexar Pro, Beam, NEXC2 dash cam is no longer powering on, check the following:
Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.
1. Check for any signs of physical damage on the dash cam’s ports and accessories.
2. If you are using a Nexar GPS Mount, unplug the USB cord from the GPS Mount and plug it directly into the dash cam.
3. Make sure the cigarette lighter adapter's light is turning on. If the charger is not lighting up, use a different power port or connect a phone charger and see if the phone will charge.
4. Remove the SD card and turn the dash cam on (if it turns on, please speak to our team and let us know)
The Nexar Pro, Beam, NEXS1, and NEXC1 are the only dash cams that have a removable SD Card. The Nexar One and NEXC2 have an internal memory that is not removable. Do not attempt to remove the internal memory from Nexar One and NEXC2, as it can cause damage and void the warranty.
