Updated over a week ago

This article provides assistance if you're experiencing audio quality issues with your NEXS1 or NEXC1 recordings.

How to Troubleshoot NEXS1 or NEXC1 Audio Quality Issues

If you are having issues with the NEXS1 or NEXC1's audio quality, follow the instructions below.

Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.

1. Power on the dash cam

2. Turn off Low Power Mode (iOS) or Power Saving Mode (Android) in the phone's Settings app.

3. Ensure that WIFI and Bluetooth settings are enabled and not connected to any other device, network, or another Nexar dash cam

4. Open the Nexar Classic app > More > Dash cam > tap the "Record audio" toggle twice to refresh

5. Go back to the Drive tab and tap "Stream"

6. Check that the mic icon on the upper right corner of the stream window is enabled

7. Record for a few minutes, then end the stream

8. Play the recording and check if the audio quality issue is fixed

9. If the audio quality is still not good, go back to the Dash cam settings within the Nexar Classic app

If the issue persists, reach out to our support team and share the affected recording for assistance.
