This article provides solutions for when your NEXS1 and NEXC1 dash cam keeps on falling off from the windshield.

Troubleshooting NEXS1 or NEXC1 Falling Off From the Windshield

The suction or adhesive mounts are strong enough to support the NEXS1 or NEXC1 so that it stays on the windshield no matter the impact. If your dash cam frequently falls off from your windshield, the following tips and guidance can help you address this issue effectively.

Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.

1. Wipe the suction cup with a wet, clean lint-free cloth to remove any dirt and debris that may have accumulated on it. This should help to restore the suction cup's stickiness.

2. Use the lint-free wipes that came with the camera to wipe the windshield. Start with the wet wipe, followed by the dry one. Alternatively, if the wipes are no longer available, you can use a little dab of alcohol on soft tissue.

3. Make sure that the glass surface is completely dry before attaching the suction mount to the windshield. Ensure there are no obstructions that can prevent the mount from sticking and creating a strong suction.

4. Pull up the camera mount lever, press the dash cam firmly against the windshield, then gently push the lever down.

If your NEXS1 or NEXC1 still keeps falling off after trying these tips or you are using an adhesive mount, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
