This guide will teach you how to set up your Nexar beam2 mini's recording resolution.


How to Change Recording Resolution

Nexar beam2 mini offers flexibility in recording resolution settings, allowing you to adjust the video quality based on your preferences or storage needs. By default, Nexar beam2 mini records videos in Standard quality.

To change your dash cam's recording resolution on the Nexar Connect app, go to More > Settings > Recording quality > choose the quality you prefer. The next time your Nexar Connected dash cam reboots, the new settings will apply and your drives will be recorded in that resolution to the internal memory.

How to View and Download Full-Quality Videos

To retrieve or view your full-quality drive videos, follow these steps:

1. Open the Nexar Connect app.

2. On the Activity tab, tap Access.

3. If not connected during session: Follow the on-screen instructions

  • Turn on the dash cam and the phone’s WiFi

  • Plug the dash cam to power

  • Double tap the power button

  • Tap Power button tapped in the app

  • Join your dash cam's WiFi network

4. Select the drive you want to download

5. Adjust the trimmer to select the part of the drive you want to save.

6. Tap Download clip.

7. Remain connected to the dash cam WiFi network until the video transfer is completed.
