This article explains how to access, download, and manage cloud-saved videos in Nexar Classic and the Nexar Cloud.

Only clips that have either been automatically or manually created are uploaded to the cloud.

Automatic Clips: Short videos of dangerous incidents. Dangerous incidents are events where the app or dash cam’s sensors detect impacts such as hard brakes, sudden stops or turns, collisions, and the like. These incidents are automatically created by your Nexar One or Nexar beam2 dash cam and are uploaded immediately to the Nexar Cloud over 4G or +Connectivity (in Nexar One dash cams, if available) as soon as an event is created.

Manual Clips: These are clips you manually create on the app. Once the created, they are uploaded to the Nexar Cloud via WiFi connection or cellular data. For Nexar One dash cams, the +Connectivity will be used to upload if your phone was connected with the dash cam during clip creation.

Here are the steps to download cloud-saved clips from the Nexar Connect app for Nexar One and Nexar beam2 users:

1. Open the Nexar Connect App.

2. Under the Activity tab, choose the drive you want to save.

3. Optional: Tap Cabin in the preview screen to switch to interior facing camera view

4. Tap Get High Resolution Clip

5. Adjust the trimmer to select the part of the drive you want to save

6. Tap Get clip

7. Tap Got it to return to the drive’s timeline

Nexar automatically opens personal cloud accounts for every user who registers to the Nexar Classic and Nexar Connect app. Therefore, there is no need to back up your drives to your personal iCloud account.

If your iPhone is backing up Nexar to your iCloud account, please follow the instructions below if you want to stop it immediately:

1. Go to iPhone settings

2. Tap on your profile name

3. Tap iCloud, then iCloud backup

4. Choose the device you want to backup

5. Scroll down, tap show all apps

6. Turn OFF Nexar Classic or Nexar Connect
