This guide will help you find and save Nexar One interior-facing camera footage to the Nexar Connect app.

Nexar’s interior-facing camera connects to your Nexar One dash cam and allows you to record the inside of your vehicle in 720p quality. The interior-facing camera does not have its own storage, so it uses Nexar One’s internal memory while being connected to it.

Videos which are saved on the internal memory and clips created using the Nexar Connect app with the interior-facing camera will be saved with audio from inside the vehicle.

In order to retrieve your interior-facing camera videos, after completing a drive with Nexar, remain near your Nexar One dash cam and make sure it is powered on.

Then follow these steps:

The Get High-Resolution Clip button allows you to trim high-quality Clips from full Drive recordings. There are two options when downloading high-resolution cabin clips from your One dash cam:

Remote Download allows you to save high-resolution clips from your dashcam without a direct connection. Each clip can be up to five minutes long, which is ideal for capturing specific incidents.

To create a remote cabin clip:

1. Open the Nexar Connect app

2. Under the Activity tab, choose the drive you want to save

3. Switch to Cabin view

4. Tap Get High Resolution Clip

5. Select Remote download

6. Adjust the trimmer to select the part of the drive you want to save

7. Tap Create remote clip

Local Download lets you save up to 40-minute clips by connecting directly to the dash cam’s WiFi. This is ideal for capturing longer cabin footage.

To create a local cabin clip:

1. Open the Nexar Connect app

2. Under the Activity tab, choose the drive you want to save

3. Tap Get High Resolution Clip

4. Select Local download

5. If the app is not connected to the dash cam, you'll be prompted to connect it. Follow onscreen instructions

6. Switch to Cabin view

7. Adjust the trimmer to select the part of the drive you want to save

8. Tap Download local clip

9. The local clip will then be saved to your camera roll

Direct Camera Access lets you download entire cabin videos with no duration limits. By connecting directly to your camera via WiFi, you can stream full-quality footage to your phone, trim the parts you need, and save them to your camera roll.

To use direct access:

1. Open the Nexar Connect app

2. On the Activity tab, tap Access

3. If not connected during session: Follow the on-screen instructions

4. Select the drive you want to download

5. Switch to Cabin view

6. Adjust the trimmer to select the part of the drive you want to save

7. Tap Download clip

8. Remain connected to the dash cam WiFi network until the video transfer is completed

Take off the lid on the driver's side of the camera, and attach the interior-facing camera. Then, make sure you've onboarded the Nexar Connect app with your Nexar One so you can back up interior facing camera footage to your phone.

Yes! You will be able to see the interior of your vehicle with no additional lighting needed.

You just need to attach it to the Nexar One dash cam, and you're good to go.

Nexar One dash cams allow you to view the dash cam's live stream remotely. At the moment, only the road view camera is available for remote live streaming.
