This guide will show you how you can access your Nexar One videos using the Nexar Connect App.


Retrieving Post-drive Videos Remotely

This will allow you to trim high quality Clips from full Drive recordings even while away from the camera. To do that:

  1. Open the Nexar Connect App.

  2. Under the Activity tab, choose the drive you want to save.

  3. Optional: Tap Cabin in the preview screen to switch to interior facing camera view

  4. Tap Get High Resolution Clip

  5. Adjust the trimmer to select the part of the drive you want to save

  6. Tap Get clip

    • If the app is not connected during Clip creation: Your clip will be automatically saved to the app when your dash cam is powered on and in an area with cellular reception.

  7. Tap Got it to return to the drive’s timeline

Get High Resolution Clip has a maximum duration of 5 minutes.


Retrieving Post-drive Videos Using the Watch Full Video Button

This option allows you to connect your camera directly over WiFi, stream full-quality footage to your phone, and trim the relevant part you wish to save to your camera roll. This will let you download the entire video, both road and cabin view, without limit to the duration.

1. Open the Nexar Connect App.

2. Under the Activity tab, choose the drive you want to save.

3. Tap Watch Full Video

If not connected during session: Follow the on-screen instructions

a. Turn on the dash cam and the phone’s WiFi

b. Plug the dash cam to power

c. Double tap the power button

d. Tap Power button tapped in the app

Optional: Tap Cabin in the preview screen to switch to interior facing camera view.

4. Adjust the trimmer to select the part of the drive you want to save.

5. Tap the Download both views checkbox if you want to save both road and cabin views.

6. Tap Download clip.

7. Remain connected to the dash cam WiFi network until the video transfer is completed.

8. Tap Done to go back to the Activity Tab screen or Open Camera Roll to play the video.
