Nexar Pro, Beam, NEXC2 Is Falling Off From the Windshield
Updated over a week ago

This article provides solutions for when your Nexar Pro, Beam, and NEXC2 dash cam keeps on falling off from the windshield.

Troubleshooting Nexar Pro, Beam, or NEXC2 Falling Off From the Windshield

Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.

The suction or adhesive mounts are strong enough to support the Nexar Pro, Beam, or NEXC2 so that it stays on the windshield no matter the impact. If your dash cam frequently falls off from your windshield, the following tips and guidance can help you address this issue effectively.

1. Begin by cleaning the area on the windshield where you intend to position the mount. You can use the provided lint-free wipes for this purpose. In case you don't have the wipes, a soft tissue with a small dab of alcohol will work just as well.

2. Ensure that the glass surface is completely dry before moving on to the next step.

3. Remove the thin plastic film covering the suction mount.

4. Hold the GPS mount in the correct orientation, with the longer part pointing directly to the left (9 o'clock position). Press the GPS mount gently but firmly against the windshield to eliminate any air between them.

5. Slowly turn the GPS mount clockwise until it reaches an upright position (12 o'clock). This creates enough pressure under the cup to form a strong suction against the glass surface.

If your Nexar Pro, Beam, or NEXC2 still keeps falling off after trying these tips or you are using an adhesive mount, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
