This guide outlines the features and functions of the Fleets dashboard's Incident Tab, showing you how to use it effectively.
What Can I See on the Incidents Tab on my Fleets Dashboard?
When clicking the Incidents tab on your Fleets Dashboard for your Nexar Fleets dash cam, you will see all the history of events that your vehicles have encountered. All incidents will be labeled accordingly, from a high-impact event (possible collision), Harsh Cornering, Hard Break, and Manual Clips.
Viewing an Incident
To view an incident in the Fleets Dashboard, simply click on a particular event from the list. The video will appear on your screen, and you can play it by clicking the Play icon in the center.
A full-screen option is available for your convenience.
You can also choose to mute or unmute the audio using the control on the lower-right side of the video.
If you want to save a copy, click the Download icon. The video will be downloaded as a ZIP file to your local drive.
If your dash cam includes an internal-facing camera, you can switch between the road-facing and cabin-facing views while watching the video.
Filter Incidents by Vehicle, Driver, Type, or Time Range
We’ve made it even easier to find the specific incidents you’re looking for. You can now filter incidents in your dashboard based on vehicle, driver, incident type, or time range.
This update helps you quickly locate relevant footage or reports, whether you’re reviewing a single event or analyzing multiple drives.
With the new filtering options, you can:
View incidents by specific vehicle or driver for faster tracking.
Narrow down by incident type, such as harsh braking or collision.
Set a custom time range to focus on events within a specific period.
This feature makes it easier to manage incidents, review trends, and identify the events that matter most to your fleet.
