This guide will teach you how to turn on and off the dash cam's chimes when it powers on or powers off.
At the moment, NEXC1's on and off chimes are enabled by default and cannot be turned on or off.
How to Enable and Disable NEXS1’s Power on and off Chimes
To enable or disable the NEXS1's power on and off chimes, please do the following:
1. Pair or connect your NEXS1 Nexar dash cam with the app.
2. Once the connection is established, go to Nexar Classic app > More > Dash cam/s > Camera Sounds
3. Switch Camera Sounds on/off
4. Start and end a drive to apply the changes to the dash cam’s settings
Only the on/off chimes will be disabled
For Nexar NEXS1, the capacitive touch sound/snapshot will remain enabled
The Camera sound toggle is not available for NEXC1 dash cams
