This article will guide you in resolving issues with viewing your Nexar Pro and NEXC2's interior or cabin-camera video recordings


The Nexar Pro and NEXC2's road and interior or cabin view camera record simultaneously as you drive. However, the interior camera does not transfer automatically to the Nexar Classic app to save phone space.

To view interior or cabin-view camera footage from the Nexar Classic app, you need to watch the video while the phone is connected or paired to the Nexar Pro or NEXC2.


What to Do to View Nexar Pro or NEXC2's Interior or Cabin-View Camera Footage From the Nexar Classic App

After completing a drive with Nexar, remain near your Nexar Pro or NEXC2 dash cam and make sure it is powered on, then do the following to view your interior or cabin-view camera videos:

Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.

1. Make sure your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi settings are enabled

2. Open the Nexar Classic app

3. Go to Videos

4. Tap the video you want to watch

5. Tap the camera icon on the top-right corner of the screen to switch to interior or cabin view

We recommend saving important interior or cabin-view camera footage as a Clip to the Nexar Classic app so it can also be uploaded to the cloud server. This way, you can access the video anytime and anywhere you want.


How to Address Issues When My Nexar Pro or NEXC2's Interior or Cabin-Camera Video Recordings Won’t Play in the App

If you're having trouble playing Nexar Pro or NEXC2's interior or cabin-view camera videos in the app, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the power plug is correctly inserted into the power port

2. Connect the dash cam to power

3. Turn off Low Power Mode (iOS) or Power Saving Mode (Android) in the phone's Settings app.

4. Disable WIFI-interfering functions like Carplay, Android Auto, VPN apps, antivirus apps, or security apps.

5. Turn on the phone's Bluetooth and WIFI and wait until the blue light stops blinking

6. Open the Nexar Classic app, then tap the Videos tab and try again.

The Nexar Classic app and Nexar dash cam utilize a loop recording mechanism that automatically overwrites older drives to make space for new ones.
