This article will guide you through mounting your Nexar beam2 dash cam to your vehicle.

If you are unsure where and how you should stick your dash cam, see our suggestions below:

  • For road view cameras, behind and to the right of your rearview mirror works best.

  • Wherever you choose to stick the camera, make sure to install it in a place where it will not interfere with the driver’s visibility or safety.

  • Do not install the camera on or near where airbags may be present or go off. If you are uncertain of where your vehicle’s airbags are located, contact your vehicle’s manufacturer.

  • In order to prevent damage, do not install the camera on a sun control film (i.e. window tint).

Learn How to Mount and Install Your Nexar beam2 Dash Cam in Your Vehicle

Follow these simple steps to easily mount and install your Nexar beam2 dash cam to your vehicle.

1. Attach the Nexar beam2 mount base to the windshield

Move to the front passenger seat of your vehicle and check the Nexar Connected app to see that you have a full, clear view of the road and interior cabin.

Clean the windshield area where you plan to mount the dash cam.

Before mounting the camera, please install the electrostatic sticker provided in the package, which can be found in an envelope inside the box. This will help reduce camera overheating when attached to the windshield.

Remove the protective film from the camera lens, including the cabin camera, if available. This will improve cabin video recording and enhance night vision.

2. Hide the cable

To install the cable neatly, start in the passenger seat. Gently pull down the ceiling fabric near the windshield, tuck the cable under, or use cable clips. Continue by feeding the cable through the door seal, behind the glove compartment, and under the floor mat. Finally, connect it to the USB charger near the power socket for a seamless setup.

That's it, you're all set!
