Yearly Plan or Pre-Paid ($7.99/month - billed annually)
Our yearly or pre-paid plan, which is billed annually, offers a comprehensive package for those who prefer an extended LTE Plan. This plan is especially recommended if you're gifting a Nexar Connected dash cam, as it ensures that the recipient enjoys a full year of enhanced features without any interruption.
Why Should I Subscribe to Nexar Connect?
We highly recommend subscribing your Nexar Connected dash cam to Nexar Connect. This LTE Plan enables you to connect with your dash cam even when you’re not in close proximity. It also unlocks additional features such as:
Track your vehicle's live location on the map.
Live stream the road camera view from your Nexar Connect app if something happens to your vehicle while parked.
Know that your emergency contacts will receive an alert and a live stream link in the event of a high-impact collision.
Backup important clips to the cloud.
Nexar Connected Dash Cam Check-Out Process and Automatic LTE Plan
At Nexar, we're constantly looking for ways to enhance your experience with our Connected dash cams. That's why we've updated our checkout process to include a simple yet significant step: choosing the perfect LTE Plan for you.
This step ensures you gain full access to all the innovative features your dash cam has to offer!
Here's a detailed look at our new checkout process:
1. Go to our product listing page and choose the Nexar Connected dash cam you want to purchase. Click Buy Now.
2. Choose the dash cam's internal memory size.
3. Click on your preferred Nexar Connect LTE plan — monthly or yearly.
4. Input the Quantity of the dash cam you want to purchase or use the + and - buttons.
5. Click Add to Cart > Check Out.
6. Enter your email and phone number, and agree to the terms of service.
7. Click Get Verification Code.
8. Enter the code and tap Verify.
9. Provide your shipping information, then click Continue to Payment Information.
Optional: You can also pay through Express Checkout.
10. Fill out your credit card details and tap on Place order if you plan to pay the dash cam and LTE Plan in full.
Meanwhile, if you want to pay in installments, your credit card will only be charged for the Nexar Connect LTE Plan. The Nexar Connected device will be paid using payment methods offering installment plans.
To pay for your dash cam in installments, follow these steps:
After supplying your credit card details, tick the check box under your credit card information and then tap on Continue to installments.
Choose your dash cam payment method (Klarna or Affirm) and tap on Place order.
Follow on-screen instructions to finish the purchase.
Before placing your order/s, please ensure that you've entered your gift card or discount code on the right side of the checkout page.
Once you've completed the purchase, you'll be redirected to the order confirmation page. This confirmation will also be sent to your email.
Nexar Connect LTE Plan Activation
The contact and payment information you provided during checkout is used to activate your Nexar account automatically. Once you've signed in to the Nexar Connect app and connected your dash cam, you'll see the message "You're all set!" and you can start driving.
If you sign up or log in to the Nexar Connect app with a different contact number than the one you used during checkout, you'll need to re-enter your payment information. This is because Nexar links payment details to your contact number.
What happens if I have a pre-paid LTE Plan but no registered payment information?
When you sign up to the Nexar Connect app using your own number, you'll need to provide your own payment information, as Nexar links payment info to phone numbers. After the 12-month pre-paid period, you'll be billed for the LTE Plan.
During onboarding, you have two choices:
Activate your Lte Plan through the MyNexar portal: Here, you'll add your payment details. Once done, you'll be guided back to complete your account setup in the Nexar Connect app.
Skip activation: Your account will be set up successfully, and you'll be directed to the Nexar Connect app homepage. However, you won't have access to all connectivity features of your Nexar Connected device.
These options also apply if you don't have a pre-paid LTE Plan and no stored payment information.
How to update your payment information post-onboarding?
To update your payment information after skipping this step during onboarding, please follow these instructions:
1. Go to the Nexar Connect app's Activity screen and select Update payment information.
2. Enter your payment information to activate the LTE Plan.
3. If you're updating payment information to finish the onboarding process, go to the Nexar Connect app and tap Let’s drive.
How to activate your Nexar Connect LTE Plan after onboarding?
To activate your Nexar Connect LTE Plan after onboarding, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Nexar Connect app by entering the phone number associated with your account.
2. Enter the 6-digit SMS verification code sent to your phone.
3. Select the Nexar Connect LTE Plan you want to activate by clicking the Activate Nexar Connect button.
4. Enter your personal and credit card information.
After completing these steps, your Nexar Connect Status will be displayed as Active. If it doesn't show as Active, wait a few seconds and refresh.
How to reactivate Nexar Connect LTE Plan?
If you wish to reactivate your Nexar Connect LTE Plan for a specific device, follow these steps:
1. Login to the MyNexar portal.
2. Enter the phone number that you use to log in to your Nexar Connect app account.
3. Enter the 6-digit SMS verification code that is sent to your phone.
4. Choose the Nexar Connect LTE Plan you wish to reactivate by clicking the Activate Nexar Connect or Update Payment Info button if prompted.
5. Enter your personal and credit card information.
Once done, the Nexar Connect Status will show as Active. If it doesn't show as Active, wait a few seconds and refresh.
How to cancel Nexar Connect LTE Plan?
If you no longer wish to continue your Nexar Connect LTE Plan, follow these step-by-step instructions.
1. Login to the MyNexar portal.
2. Click Edit on the Nexar Connect LTE Plan you would like to cancel.
3. Click on Cancel Subscription.
4. Tell us why you wish to cancel.
5. Tap on Yes, cancel subscription.
Once done, the status should show as Inactive.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel my prepaid LTE Plan before the end of the prepaid period?
We're sorry to hear you want to cancel your LTE Plan. Unfortunately, cancellation of your LTE Plan is no longer allowed if you're past the Nexar Connect trial period and within the pre-paid term.

Why can't I cancel my LTE Plan?
If you're unable to cancel your active LTE Plan on MyNexar, please attempt the cancellation process again. In case of persistent issues, please contact support.
