This Monthly Plan offers all premium features with the flexibility of a month-to-month subscription. Perfect for drivers who want continuous connectivity without being locked into a long-term agreement, you can enjoy full protection while maintaining the freedom to adjust your coverage as needed.
Yearly Plan or Pre-Paid ($95.88/year)
Our yearly or pre-paid plan, which is billed annually, offers a comprehensive package for those who prefer an extended LTE Protection Plan. This plan is especially recommended if you're gifting a Nexar Connected dash cam, as it ensures that the recipient enjoys a full year of enhanced features without any interruption.
Why Should I Subscribe to the LTE Protection Plan?
We highly recommend subscribing your Nexar Connected dash cam to the LTE Protection Plan. This enables you to connect with your dash cam even when you’re not in close proximity. It also unlocks additional features such as:
Track your vehicle's live location on the map.
Live stream the road camera view from your Nexar Connect app if something happens to your vehicle while parked.
Know that your emergency contacts will receive an alert and a live stream link in the event of a high-impact collision.
Backup important clips to the cloud.
LTE Protection Plan Activation
The contact and payment information you provided during checkout is used to activate your Nexar account automatically. Once you've signed in to the Nexar Connect app and connected your dash cam, you'll see the message "You're all set!" and you can start driving.
If you sign up or log in to the Nexar Connect app with a different contact number than the one you used during checkout, you'll need to re-enter your payment information. This is because Nexar links payment details to your contact number.
What happens if I have a pre-paid LTE Protection Plan but no registered payment information?
When you sign up to the Nexar Connect app using your own number, you'll need to provide your own payment information, as Nexar links payment info to phone numbers. After the 12-month pre-paid period, you'll be billed for the LTE Protection Plan.
During onboarding, you have two choices:
Activate your LTE Protection Plan through the MyNexar portal: Here, you'll add your payment details. Once done, you'll be guided back to complete your account setup in the Nexar Connect app.
Skip activation: Your account will be set up successfully, and you'll be directed to the Nexar Connect app homepage. However, you won't have access to all connectivity features of your Nexar Connected device.
These options also apply if you don't have a pre-paid LTE Protection Plan and no stored payment information.
How to update your payment information post-onboarding?
To update your payment information after skipping this step during onboarding, please follow these instructions:
1. Go to the Nexar Connect app's Activity screen and select Update payment information.
2. Enter your payment information to activate the LTE Protection Plan.
3. If you're updating payment information to finish the onboarding process, go to the Nexar Connect app and tap Let’s drive.
How to activate your LTE Protection Plan after onboarding?
To activate your LTE Protection Plan after onboarding, follow these steps:
1. Log in to MyNexar portal by entering the phone number associated with your account.
2. Enter the 6-digit SMS verification code sent to your phone.
3. Select the LTE Protection Plan you want to activate by clicking the Activate LTE Protection Plan or Edit payment method button.
4. Enter your personal and credit card information.
After completing these steps, your Nexar Connect Status will be displayed as Active. If it doesn't show as Active, wait a few seconds and refresh.
How to reactivate the LTE Protection Plan?
If you wish to reactivate your LTE Protection Plan for a specific device, follow these steps:
1. Login to the MyNexar portal.
2. Enter the phone number that you use to log in to your Nexar Connect app account.
3. Enter the 6-digit SMS verification code that is sent to your phone.
4. Choose the LTE Protection Plan you wish to reactivate by clicking the Activate LTE Protection Plan or Edit payment method button.
5. Enter your personal and credit card information.
Once done, the Nexar Connect Status will show as Active. If it doesn't show as Active, wait a few seconds and refresh.
How to cancel the LTE Protection Plan?
If you no longer wish to continue your LTE Protection Plan, follow these step-by-step instructions.
1. Login to the MyNexar portal.
2. Click Edit on the LTE Protection Plan you would like to cancel.
3. Click on Cancel LTE Protection Plan.
4. Tell us why you wish to cancel.
5. Tap on Yes, cancel LTE Protection Plan.
Once done, the status should show as Inactive.

Can I cancel my prepaid LTE Protection Plan before the end of the prepaid period?
We're sorry to hear you want to cancel your LTE Protection Plan. Unfortunately, cancellation of your LTE Protection Plan is no longer allowed if you're past the Nexar Connect trial period and within the pre-paid term.
