This article will help you troubleshoot when you are having trouble installing or uninstalling Nexar Classic.


What to Do When I Can’t Install Nexar Classic?

If you are having trouble installing Nexar Classic to your phone, please do the following:

1. Make sure your phone is compatible with Nexar Classic as listed here: https://intercom.help/nexar/en/articles/8485006

2. Ensure that your phone's operating system is compatible with Nexar Classic:

Android: Android 8 and above (For Nexar Pro, Beam, NEXS1, NEXC1, NEXC2)
iOS: iOS 13 and above

3. Make sure your phone is connected to the internet via WiFI or cellular data without connection issues

4. Disable any VPN apps, antivirus apps, or security apps on your phone.

5. Only install the Nexar Classic directly from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

5. For Android phones: Make sure that you are installing Nexar Classic on your personal profile and not on a work profile, workspace, or work-provided phone.

Work profiles may have certain restrictions that deny Nexar Classic's access to external phone resources like WIFI and/or Bluetooth

6. After checking these, try installing Nexar Classic again.

7. If it still fails, restart your phone and try again.

What to Do When I Can’t Uninstall Nexar Classic?

If you are having trouble uninstalling Nexar Classic on your phone, please do the following:

1. Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, search "Nexar", and if available, tap the Update button.

2. Disable any VPN apps, antivirus apps, or security apps on your phone.

3. Try uninstalling the app again.

4. If it fails, force close Nexar Classic, then restart the phone, and try again.

For iOS users: Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen > pause in the middle > swipe up on Nexar Classic.

For Android users: Tap the hamburger icon (three lines or dots) from the Navigation bar > swipe up on Nexar Classic.

Uninstalling Nexar Classic will delete all the videos that are saved there permanently. Please make sure to save your important drives as Clips first so they can be uploaded to the Nexar Cloud for safekeeping.
