This article is designed to assist you in troubleshooting your Nexar One if you're encountering problems with the dash cam turning off or restarting while you're driving.

Troubleshooting Nexar One Restarting or Turning On and Off While Driving

If your Nexar One is restarting, or turning on and off in the middle of your drives, please do the following:

Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.

1. Ensure that your dash cam's firmware is up to date.

2. Check if the power outlet is working by trying a different power source to see if the restarting issue will stop.

3. Examine the mount, accessories, and dash cam for any physical damage or signs of bloating.

4. Ensure that the power cable is connected to the correct port on the Nexar One's mount and not to any add-on ports on the sides, as this can potentially harm the dash cam.

5. Remove and reattach the mount and cables. Make sure they are all properly connected.

6. If you have cabin view camera and/or +Connectivity add-ons attached, please remove them and do a test drive without them to see if the restarting issue will stop.
