The Nexar Beam2, like other Nexar dash cams, features LED light indicators that signify different states of the camera. Below are the specific meanings of each color.
Light Indicator | Dash Cam Status |
Slow Blinking White | The dash cam is not recording or booting |
Solid White | The dash cam is powered on and recording |
Steady Blue | WIFI is available for direct camera access |
Blinking Purple | OTA is in progress |
Steady Red | The dash cam is not recording in the SD card |
Steady Amber | The camera has been offline for more than 5 minutes and there's a connection error that prevents the dash cam from uploading footage and data successfully |
Blinking Red Light (followed by dash cam shutdown) | The dash cam has a critical battery |
