This article gives you the simple steps on how to connect multiple phones with your dash cam. This can especially be helpful if there are multiple users driving the vehicle.


You can pair or connect multiple phones to a single Nexar dash cam, this means that anyone who’s driving the vehicle can have the same Nexar experience. In order to do this, you must first pair or connect them individually so the dash cam will recognize both or all of them.

The steps for pairing or connecting another phone to a Nexar dash cam are the exact same process as pairing a phone for the first time. This is also true for pairing multiple phones with different operating systems (iOS and Android phones).

When trying to connect, make sure that any wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, VPNs, security, or antivirus apps or hotspots on your phone are disabled.

How to Pair Multiple Phones to a Nexar Dash Cam?

Here's a simple step-by-step process on how to pair or connect multiple dash cams

1. Tap on Nexar Classic and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. To confirm that you are paired, tap the Drive tab. If successful, you will see the dash cam’s current status say Detected.

For iOS 14 and above, make sure that Local Network is enabled. You will not be able to pair/connect your Nexar dash cam if the Local Network is disabled/toggled OFF.

When pairing an Android device, please make sure that Location permission is set to Allow all the time.
