This article lists the simple steps on how to pair or connect multiple dash cams to one phone. This can especially be helpful if you have multiple dash cams in different vehicles.

Nexar users with multiple vehicles often use a separate Nexar dash cam for each car. Nexar Classic is thoughtfully designed to facilitate smooth switching between dash cams. However, it's essential to note that connecting two or more Nexar dash cams to the app simultaneously is not possible. This limitation is because Wifi can only support one active connection at a time.

Pairing or connecting multiple dash cams is not available for iPhones at the moment. However, you can pair a different dash cam to the app by unpairing the current one first.

Follow these steps to pair or connect a different Nexar Pro, Beam, NEXC1, NEXC2, or NEXS1 dash cam to an iPhone:

1. Open Nexar Classic.
2. Go to More > Dash cam > Pair a different dash cam.
3. Tap Continue to unpair.
4. Make sure the first dash cam is off, and plug the second dash cam into a power source.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the second dash cam to your phone.

Please make sure to disconnect the first camera from its power source before pairing or connecting the second dash cam to an Android phone. Do this so it will not interfere with the WiFi connection between the second dash cam and your phone.

Then, follow these steps to pair or connect a different Nexar Pro, Beam, NEXC1, NEXC2, or NEXS1 dash cam to an Android phone:

1. Turn off the first dash cam.

2. Plug the second dash cam into a power source.
3. Make sure the dash cam’s indicator lights are on.
4. Turn on your phone’s WiFi, Location, and Bluetooth.
5. Open Nexar Classic.
6. Go to More > Dash cams > Tap Add another camera and follow the on-screen instructions.
7. The app will tell you to push a button twice on your dash cam as specified below:
