Troubleshooting Nexar One’s Parking Mode Not Working or Not Activating
If you are having issues with your Nexar One’s parking mode not working or activating, simply follow the steps below:
Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.
1. Ensure that the power cable is connected to the correct port on the Nexar One's mount and not to any add-on ports on the sides, as this can potentially harm the dash cam.
2. Plug the dash cam to power.
3. Enable the phone's WiFi network and wait for the dash cam's white power light to stop blinking.
4. Open the Nexar Connect app.
5. Go to More > Settings, and enable the Parking Mode toggle.
6. If the Parking Mode is already enabled, toggle the Parking Mode switch OFF for 10 seconds, then switch it back ON to recalibrate.
Next, follow the troubleshooting steps below to check if your Nexar One’s parking mode is working:
1. Turn off the vehicle's engine and disable WiFi on your phone.
2. Leave the vehicle for 10 minutes to keep the Nexar One undisturbed.
3. After 10 minutes, come back to the vehicle, then unmount Nexar One, and give it a gentle shake. The Nexar One should turn on and record a parking clip, and then turn off
4. The Nexar Connect app should notify you and save the parking incident to your phone immediately as long as your phone's cellular data is enabled.
