Nexar Connect Subscription Issues

This article will guide you in resolving issues with the Nexar Connect subscription for your Nexar One, such as getting an error message in the MyNexar Portal or Nexar Connect page or being unable to open the MyNexar Portal or Nexar Connect page.


Troubleshooting Issues with Opening the Nexar Connect page or Activating the Nexar Connect Subscription for Nexar One

Please ensure that you are only using the original cable, mount, and Nexar-provided power accessory that came with the camera to avoid any potential issues.

Generally, subscribing to the Nexar Connect feature is a seamless process, but if you encounter issues in activating your Nexar Connect subscription, simply follow the steps below:

1. Unplug the Nexar One and wait until the blue/white power light turns off.

2. Remove the +Connectivity add-on, then reattach it to the right side of the Nexar One.

3. Ensure the power plug is correctly inserted into the magnetic mount (not the add-on ports), then plug it back to power.

4. Turn off Low Power Mode (iOS) or Power Saving Mode (Android) in the phone's Settings app.

5. Disable WiFi-interfering functions like CarPlay, Android Auto, VPN apps, antivirus apps, security apps, and hotspots.

6. Enable the phone's cellular data, Bluetooth, and WiFi settings

7. Wait until the blue/white light stops blinking, then try again

8. If the issue persists, force close the Nexar Classic app using the instructions below and try again.

For iOS: Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen > pause in the middle > swipe up on the Nexar Connect app.

For Android: Tap the hamburger icon (three lines or dots) from the Navigation bar > swipe up on the Nexar Connect app.


Troubleshooting Issues with Cancelling the Nexar Connect Subscription for Nexar One

If you are having issues canceling your Nexar Connect subscription, simply follow the steps below:

1. Unplug the Nexar One and wait until the blue/white power light turns off.

2. Remove the +Connectivity add-on, then reattach it to the right side of the Nexar One.

3. Ensure the power plug is correctly inserted into the magnetic mount (not the add-on ports), then plug it back to power.

4. Turn off Low Power Mode (iOS) or Power Saving Mode (Android) in the phone's Settings app.

5. Disable WIFI-interfering functions like CarPlay, Android Auto, VPN apps, antivirus apps, security apps, and hotspots.

6. Enable the phone's cellular data, Bluetooth, and WiFi settings, and wait until the blue/white light stops blinking.

7. Go to the Nexar Portal here: https://www.getnexar.com/mynexar

8. Click Edit > Cancel Subscription, then choose the reason for the cancelation, after that, tap the Cancel Subscription again to confirm. If successful, the subscription status should show as Cancelled.

9. If the issue persists, force close the Nexar Connect app using the instructions below and try again.

For iOS: Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen > pause in the middle > swipe up on the Nexar Connect app.

For Android: Tap the hamburger icon (three lines or dots) from the Navigation bar > swipe up on the Nexar Connect app.
